Forest Essentials Facial Tonic Mist Panchpushp Review
I am very regular about cleansing, toning and moisturizing my face. Although I occasionally pamper myself with massage creams and face masks, a CTM routine ensures that my skin doesn’t turn lifeless. However, my skin is currently at its worst because of the cold and windy weather. We have entered March and there is no relief from winters, I may hate this season but this time I am eagerly waiting for summers. Since my skin is terribly dry right now, I have switched to products that are gentle on the skin. One such product is the Forest Essentials Facial Tonic Mist Panchpushp.
Product Claims: Our pure and active water-based toners are made from floral, fruit and herb extracts essential to the Ayurvedic philosophy; to hydrate, tone and revive the skin. This hydrosol or floral water comes from the condensation collected during the steam distillation of flowers when extracting essential oils. The skin requires a gentle boost after cleansing to rehydrate and tone and prepare it for a nourishing routine. The freshest flowers of Rose, Marigold, Bela, Kewda, and Saffron are steam distilled for their pure essential oils and the hydrating floral water residue is used for this intensely hydrating Facial Toner.
How To Use: Use as a toner after cleansing or as often as required during the day to keep the skin fresh and hydrated.
Price: Rs400 for 50ml/ Rs750 for 100ml.
My Experience With Forest Essentials Facial Tonic Mist Panchpushp: I use Panchpushp facial tonic mist twice a day after cleansing the face with Forest Essentials Mashobra, Honey and Rosewater Face Cleanser. It is packed in a Translucent dark blue plastic bottle and has a pump dispenser. The packaging is beautiful and travel-friendly. It is available in two sizes-50ml and 100ml, I use the 50 ml bottle since it is easier to carry it in my bag.
You can use a cotton ball to apply the toner or simply spritz it on your face. I prefer the latter, only a few sprays are enough to refresh the face and give it a boost of hydration. It is not like your regular toners that remove any residue left on the skin after cleansing or tighten pores, this product is essentially meant to hydrate and nourish the skin before moisturizing. I feel that my moisturizer is easily absorbed after using this toner, I sometimes use it while massaging my face with Forest Essentials Tejasvi Emulsion.
I prefer to use mild products on my skin and a tonic mist like this one suits my normal to dry skin. Oily skinned beauties who want to keep the skin oil and sebum free will not prefer this toner. However, it is a great pick for all skin types if used as a face mist. I will also recommend using it in summers for soothing and refreshing the face.
All Forest Essentials products are known for their beautiful fragrance and this one is no exception. It has a mild floral fragrance with Kewda being the most prominent note.
What I like about the product:
- Travel-friendly packaging.
- Pleasant fragrance.
- Ayurvedic and chemical free.
- Mild and hydrating.
- Soothes the skin.
- Good for use as a face mist.
- Good for normal to dry skin.
- No animal testing.
What I don’t like about the product:
- Not suitable for oily skin.
Verdict: Forest Essentials Facial Tonic Mist Panchpushp is a good product for normal to dry skin. It is a great pick if you are looking for a mild product to hydrate and nourish your skin. However, if you prefer regular toners that remove excess impurities or tighten the pores then this is not meant for you. Plus points for the heavenly fragrance!
