Yes, this humble vegetable which is used for making delicious salads is the beauty ingredient of my choice in summers. My summers are incomplete without daily consumption of cucumber, I mostly use it in salads and when I am tired, it makes the perfect pad to refresh my eyes. Also, it goes into my face masks to instantly refresh the skin. I also keep cucumber juice in my refrigerator and it acts as a wonderful DIY toner for the skin. Cucumber and tomato face mask
Blend half a cucumber to make a paste and add the juice of a tomato. Mix well and add one tbsp. honey. Spread this mixture on the face and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse well with plain water.

It is a good moisturizer and has anti-aging properties. This one is a very summery face mask that can refresh the skin in no time. Blend together half a cucumber and one tbsp. aloe vera gel. Add one tbsp. rose water to this mixture and apply it on the face for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with plain water.
